Warabeya Nichiyo Holdings, Co., Ltd. (hereafter, the “Company"), recognizes its social responsibility to make every effort to protect personal information obtained through the Company's business activities, and therefore strives to protect personal information based on the following policy.

1. Basic Policy

  1. The Company complies with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and related laws and regulations. In addition, the Company has organized internal rules for the proper handling and protection of personal information, and is committed to ensuring that these rules are fully implemented, maintained, and improved on an ongoing basis.
  2. In addition to establishing a management system for the protection of personal information, the Company provides its officers and employees with occasional training regarding the protection of personal information and appropriate management methods to ensure proper handling of personal information.
  3. The Company handles personal information within a clearly defined scope, and does NOT disclose or provide personal information to third parties, except with the consent of the person in question or in other cases covered in Section 3.
  4. The Company is committed to maintaining the accuracy of personal information, and implements safety measures, including information security measures, in an effort to prevent unauthorized access to personal information and the loss, falsification, destruction, or leakage of personal information.
  5. The Company responds in good faith to inquiries, disclosure requests, and other requests regarding personal information from the person in question.

2. Purposes of Personal Information Use

When the Company requests personal information from a person, the Company clearly states the purpose for which the personal information will be used, and only uses such information within that scope.

    iv. Shareholder management in accordance with laws and regulations (preparation of shareholder data, etc.)
  3. Personal information pertaining to job applicants
    i. Provision of recruitment information to and communication with job applicants
    ii. Recruitment duty management at the Company

3. Provision of Personal Information

The Company does NOT disclose or provide personal information to third parties, except in the following cases:

 

  1. When consent has been obtained from the person in question.
  2. When such acts are based on laws and regulations.
  3. When it is necessary for the protection of the life, body, or property of a person, and the Company deems it difficult to obtain the consent of the person in question.
  4. When it is particularly necessary for the improvement of public health or the promotion of the sound upbringing of children, and the Company deems it difficult to obtain the consent of the person in question.
  5. When it is necessary to cooperate with a state organ, local public body, or a person entrusted by such in performing affairs prescribed by laws and regulations, and the Company deems that obtaining the consent of the person in question could potentially hinder the performance of the relevant affair.

4. Others

  1. The Company provides notification on this website regarding any important changes or announcements pertaining to this Policy on Handling Personal Information.
